Philosophical, dreamy and playful, Kimberley narrates an artist’s life through a moment of transition and meditation.

In his debut mixtape, Jae Sterling travels from Kingston to Giza, all while musing about what it means to be a rapper in 2018. Part nomad, part self-assured, Sterling’s verbose 5 track tape sounds like its been in the making for several years, and in a way it has. Vagabond considers what it feels like to create hiphop in Calgary while dreaming about a larger narrative, Vagabond suggests that this small collection of songs is a snapshot of Jae Sterling right as he is about to leap into a much larger ecosystem of hiphop and music.
